Maple Platform Bed Frame

Here is the first piece I made for my daughter’s bedroom set.  It is made of maple, patterned after a discontinued bed sold at Urban Outfitters.

The main feature was the cane webbing on the headboard, but from a design standpoint, I wanted to make a bed that was easy to assemble and disassemble to make it easy to move.
